Finger Dances solo

Donald invited me to contribute to his ‘finger dances’ for Choreodrome. His intention was to explore the possibilities arising from hand movements with a mindset of exploring and demystifying dance. I performed this piece in the stairwell outside the foyer bar. The choreography of hands was intended to express repetitions of loss and rebuilding; the performance also involved drawing in charcoal on 40 210 x 210 mm sheets of cartridge paper.
