I approached Maresa to create a site specific dance piece as part of a series of collaborations inspired by the ethos of Luciano Berio’s work and culture.
Maresa created powerful, intelligent movement that amplified existing relationships between space, music and listening. It also pushed the Roberta’s physical technique against unusual parameters: extending upwards, backwards, rolling against the padded leather of the circular sofa; rotating, enveloped, absorbed in the spherical intimacy of the Listening Shell.
